Biography
moonwatcher is an experimental Toronto-based
musician, with her debut self-produced EP titled
the moonwatcher, dropping on October 23rd,
2026.
As a recording artist, she blends her
classically-trained vocals with dream-infused
electronic production to create avant-garde pop
music, influenced by her love of baroque and
romantic classical periods, as well as her surrealist
creative visions.
In her live performances, she creates immersive
sonic and visual worlds, oscillates between
classical and extended vocal techniques, and
embraces improvisation. She is a trained dancer
and actress who has worked professionally, both
internationally and within Canada, pursuing
multi- disciplinary forms of performance.
moonwatcher’s music projects go beyond the dimension of
sound, integrating surreal visuals, movement and dance,
and ethereal, other-worldly imagery.
Her live-performance career highlight so far: 1:11
moonwatching at Toronto Music Gallery’s “what is:
heart(break)” festival, where she immersed her
body in a large fish tank while singing into
under-water microphones, presented in 6.1
spatial surround sound.
moonwatcher received a music recording
grant from the Ontario Arts Council in order
to record and produce this debut EP.

The Moonwatcher is
moonwatcher's debut
experimental pop EP, inspired by
the sounds of echoing
cathedrals, ghosts, glitches,
and sirens. Blending the beautiful
with the ugly, and featuring raw,
emotionally charged lyrical
content, the EP fuses rich
acoustic instruments like the
harp, violins, and cello, with
striking percussion, haunting
operatic vocals and glitchy,
granular processing.
moonwatcher produced her
self-titled EP all on her own,
using a mixture of analog and
digital synths, software
instruments, and lots of
live instrument
recordings.
